RCAWD Differential & Diff Locker Portal Axles for FMS FCX24, Lemur K5 Blazer & FCX18 LC80

The open differential or limited-slip differential is a crucial component of your vehicle. If your factory-equipped truck has portal axles, you can install them without any problems. However, some customers may encounter issues when replacing the diff portal axles with an open differential. This can lead to a reverse in the throttle direction, where pressing forward may cause the vehicle to move backward.

There are a couple of different ways to address this issue:

1. Utilize the Traxxas transmitter to reverse the throttle direction. You can go through the set functionality on the transmitter and easily reverse the throttle direction.

2. A simpler option is to reverse the motor wires. If you have an aftermarket motor with independent plugs, you can simply switch the wires around to restore the normal throttle direction. This approach also works with the stock motor - you can flip the plug around without any issues.

By reversing the motor wires, you can maintain the functionality of the pro scale light kit if you have it installed in your TRX 4M. Reversing the transmitter can cause compatibility issues with the pro scale light kit, so the motor wire switch is the recommended solution.
