Open Differential or Limited Slip Differential: A Product Description

The factory-equipped differential locker portal axles can be installed without any problems. However, some customers may encounter issues when they change the diff portal axles to an open differential on their trucks. This change can reverse the throttle direction, where pressing forward may cause the vehicle to go backward.

There are a couple of different ways to address this issue:

1. Utilizing the Traxxas transmitter, you can go through the set functionality and reverse the throttle direction on the transmitter.

2. An easier option is to simply reverse the motor wires. If you have an aftermarket motor with independent plugs, you can switch these around to restore the normal throttle direction. This approach can also be applied to the stock motor by flipping the plug around.

This wire-switching method allows you to maintain the functionality of the pro scale light kit, which could be disrupted if you were to reverse the transmitter.
